Jordan + Derek’s wedding was all about timeless romance with a modern, upscale twist on the cozy, charming setting of Bainbridge Island. In the heart of Lynnwood Center, with their names up on the marquee at Lynwood Theatre, we created an unforgettable celebration that was both classy and filled with those perfect little cottage touches that made it feel intimate and inviting.

When it came to style, Jordan + Derek were all about a polished and romantic vibe (you know, clean girl aesthetic), and they wanted their guests to feel just as special as they did. We leaned into classic, simple tones—soft taupes, whites, and black—to complement the lush backdrop of vines and greenery. It was an evening designed for unforgettable moments, from stunning decor to small surprises that kept everyone talking. Jordan, a detail-loving Type-A bride, totally trusted us to bring her vision to life, which meant every touch felt just right.

The weekend itself was packed with fun–between golfing, wine tasting, a pool party, and a welcome event, guests were immersed in celebration mode from the start. We set the tone with a minimalistic yet inviting invitation suite by 26 Pressed, giving guests a peek into the chic black, white, and beige palette they’d walk into on the big day. Jordan looked flawless in a fitted strapless Tara Latour gown with a veil from A&Be’, paired with Christian Dior shoes her mom surprised her with. Derek matched her elegance in a classic black tuxedo.

As guests entered the venue, they were greeted by a champagne table, with glasses adorned with tiny bows—a hint of the sweet details that were woven throughout the day. Bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore black, giving a crisp, modern look that popped against the greenery. Bridesmaids carried bouquets of gypsophila and roses, while Jordan held an all-rose bouquet as her dad walked her down the aisle to the solarium. Guests sat on black bentwood chairs with fans waiting for them, while white pillars with clusters of white florals added height and texture to the ceremony setup. Jordan’s brother officiated, giving a heartfelt and hilarious start to their marriage, and as the couple shared their first kiss, guests celebrated with a shower of petals.

Cocktail hour brought on a few personalized elements–Jordan’s signature drink was a Bees Knees topped with a custom monogram and Derek’s Old Fashioned featured Polaroids from their engagement session. Guests returned to the solarium for the reception, which had textured linens, gorgeous florals, and candlelight for a romantic glow. We kept the tablescapes simple yet elegant, featuring off-whites, creams, and taupes. At the head table, long bone velvet linens, Oh Flora compotes, and adorable black candlestick holders set the stage, while round guest tables were draped in matching velvet linens with floral arrangements and candle clusters.

From the champagne tower on the custom white-and-beige dance floor to a vintage wedding cake and fun late-night snacks, Jordan + Derek’s reception was packed with trendy and intentional details. The night ended on a high note with a sparkler send-off–what could be better?!

Working with Hannah of Hannah Faye Photo and Danielle from Visionary Filmhouse was amazing. We connected ahead of time to nail down the creative direction and shared Pinterest boards for inspiration. Hannah even brought her black backdrop for some editorial shots in the gardens, which made for unforgettable photos that perfectly captured the vibe.

Jordan + Derek’s day was everything they dreamed of—a modern and timeless celebration.
