For a photography retreat we were asked to plan, design, and style we crafted a design that balanced deep, natural textures with modern, minimalist elements—creating a unique editorial setup for photographers to capture. The workshop retreat took place in a stunning private villa where each detail was designed to inspire, with vendors who brought a refined touch to every scene.
The tablescape was built around organic, earthy tones, starting with a raw-edged table and unique cane-bottomed wood chairs. These natural textures were layered with frayed chargers, black candlestick holders with taupe candles, and sandstone pillars, grounding the scene in rich, textural detail. Parcells Flower Co designed the florals to complement this aesthetic, with ikebana-style arrangements of dried hydrangea and baby’s breath that seemed to grow directly from the table, offering photographers a unique perspective on floral design.
26 Pressed provided an impeccable suite of paper goods, featuring an invitation suite that perfectly reflected the day’s modern yet earthy feel. Each piece added elegance and cohesion to the scenes, a testament to Rebekah’s eye for detail and quality. A huge thank you also goes to The Bespoke Bride for sending a stunning Jane Hill Bridal gown, which added an effortless sense of romance and refinement to the shoot.
The couple, Candela + Martin, brought a natural chemistry to each shot, while Daiana Saucedo provided flawless hair and makeup, keeping the look both fresh and elegant. Together, these elements gave photographers a range of textures, styles, and colors to explore, creating an editorial experience that was both artful and timeless.
