Located on the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy is a little seaside town called Praiano, which is one of Italy’s most adorable cities. The obvious draws to this area are the views of the coast and the sweet Italian villas, however it also showcases the most lush parts of the country and the homes are built into the hillsides, creating the best backdrop for guests to ooh and ahh at. Sabrina + Oleg handpicked the sweetest villa (Villa Frantoio) to house their closest friends and family and also serve as the location of their ceremony and dinner.
Sabrina + Oleg had a color palette in mind and vision of ombre florals, and most importantly, they knew what they wanted the day to feel like: special, magical, and romantic. Sabrina is a wedding photographer herself (and Oleg dables in film), so a relaxed timeline for portraits with Karra Leigh (and film time for Colin & Lakin) was high on their priority list, as well as really capturing the beauty around them and showcasing that.
Sabrina worked closely with Scarlet Gilia Creative to create a jaw-dropping invitation suite–complete with a map and an itinerary. We particularly love a strong invitation suite as it sets the tone for the wedding and really gives guests the first glimpse into the wedding and what caliber and vibe they’ll be walking into.
Joanna of Goodseed Floral constructed two pillars that stood in front of the stonewall and overlooked the coastline where Sabrina + Oleg recited vows to each other and Sabrina’s brother pronounced them husband and wife.
Planning and designing weddings for just a couple dozen people is one of our favorite things to do because each and every detail is so thoughtfully curated and executed, and the couple can really make it a night to remember and wow their guests by going over-the-top, even in the subtlest ways. We loved working closely with Goodseed Floral to bring to life the lush greenery and bloom heavy runner, which spanned the entire length of the linened table. We are really proud of their design and the curation of every single piece from the vintage silverware we flew with, to the specialty candles in the prettiest tones brought in from multiple candlemakers, and all the way down to the texture of the napkin–no stone was left unturned and we took such pride in each design decision.
Karra and Colin & Lakin captured the day with style and these images speak for themselves. Oh, and be sure to get a good look at Sabrina’s dress–she designed it with Daci and it was perfectly her!
