When the ever-talented Gina Paulson invited us to style an editorial shoot at her workshop at Wind Mountain Ranch, she gave us total creative freedom—and let us tell you, we had fun with it.
We were dreaming of a summertime palette that felt playful, a little nostalgic, and perfectly unexpected. Something that would pop against the venue’s black architecture while also dancing with the wild, natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge. And with the dreamiest vendor team in tow, we brought that vision to life with vibrant color, cheeky details, and floral moments that made our hearts skip.
Let’s start with the paper goods from 26 Pressed, who designed a suite that we still haven’t stopped thinking about. The scalloped edges, pastel tones, and nostalgic typography were unlike anything we’d seen before—quirky in the best way and tied up with a green silk chiffon bow for the perfect finishing touch.
Our counterparts at Parcells Flower Co took the floral brief and elevated it tenfold with their flower selections and design skills. The ikebana-style arrangements were whimsical and intentional all at once, scattered down the table in a way that felt fresh and unpredictable. No two were alike, and that was the beauty of it.
We layered in playful textures and tones with rentals from Great Jones and we brought in Aperitivo PNW to create a bar moment that was both beautifully styled and deliciously fun. Add a chartreuse cake from Sarah’s Sweet Treats and you’ve got a setting that was as joyful as it was design-forward.
The bride wore Made With Love from The Bespoke Bride—a classically structured gown that felt just right for the occasion. Makeup by Shannel of West Coast Makeup + Hair gave her the kind of radiant glow that makes you feel like the sun is shining from within.
And then—our couple brought effortless chemistry and so much joy to the shoot, making it all feel real, intimate, and full of spark.
Finally, Gabriel. His photography captured it all. He brings such warmth to every space he’s in, and his calming and steadfast energy is exactly what’s needed on a big wedding day!
When you bring together a group of creatives and give them space to play, magic always follows. And this day at Wind Mountain Ranch? It was pure, playful magic.
