Whidbey Island set the stage for Jordan + Kai’s unforgettable wedding weekend, and it all began with two thoughtfully designed events that brought their loved ones together: a relaxed welcome party at The Captain Whidbey, followed by an intimate rehearsal dinner at Goldie’s and the Roost.
The weekend kicked off at The Captain Whidbey, a historic waterfront venue with all the cozy charm you’d expect from a Pacific Northwest gem. Guests arrived to a warm, inviting atmosphere with sweet whimsical florals that perfectly reflected the natural beauty of the surroundings. Featuring neutral tones and organic materials, the decor included gorgeous rentals from Great Jones and dusty blue linens from BBJ La Tavola.
No one went hungry at this welcome party, thanks to the incredible Pop-Up Oyster Bar, serving fresh, local oysters alongside a curated bar menu that felt quintessentially PNW. To tie it all together, custom signage by 26 Pressed added many personal touches. Jordan looked effortlessly chic in her Anthropologie dress paired with Tecovas boots, perfectly blending beauty with personality.
After such a relaxed and fun start, the couple welcomed their closest friends and family to a more intimate rehearsal dinner at Goldie’s and the Roost. This cool venue provided the perfect backdrop for heartfelt toasts and good food.
For the rehearsal dinner, Jordan wore a stunning V. Chapman Studio dress paired with classic Jimmy Choo heels, adding a glamorous touch to the evening.
