After a weekend filled with love, laughter, and thoughtful celebrations, Jordan + Kai’s wedding day at The Captain Whidbey was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the natural beauty of Whidbey Island, the historic venue combined rustic charm with elegant design, creating the perfect setting for a day that was as heartfelt as it was breathtaking.

The couple’s vision came to life in every detail, blending whimsical elements with timeless elegance. To accommodate their celebration, CORT Party Rentals built a custom tent complete with flooring and heating, transforming the space into a one-of-a-kind venue. The result was a cozy yet grand atmosphere that allowed guests to feel both comfortable and in awe.

For the ceremony, Jordan + Kai exchanged vows in a setting that felt like a secret garden. Parcells Flower Co. created show-stopping floral installations, blending unique blooms and foliage in a whimsical design that brought movement, texture, and romance to the ceremony space. Music by True North PNW added an emotional layer, setting the perfect tone for a moment that was as personal as it was beautiful.

As guests entered the reception, they were greeted by layered, luxurious tablescapes that balanced bold whimsy with elegant sophistication. Rentals from Great Jones and BBJ La Tavola played a key role in creating the aesthetic, from textured linens to perfectly curated place settings. The florals continued to impress, with imaginative arrangements adding depth and personality to the tables.

The couple’s fashion was just as unforgettable as the decor. Jordan stunned in a Vivienne Westwood gown for the ceremony before changing into pieces by Badgley Mischka and Cult Gaia for the reception. Kai looked sharp in a custom Indochino suit, paired with Nordstrom accessories, complementing Jordan’s bold yet timeless style.

Desserts by Blue Box Bakery were a sweet highlight of the evening, with a custom cake and treats that were as beautiful as they were delicious. DJ Keawe (of Pulse Entertainment) kept the party alive late into the night, ensuring the day ended on a joyful and celebratory note.

Special recognition goes to Joy & Everette, whose artistic storytelling captured every moment, from the big-picture magic to the smallest details. Parcells Flower Co. exceeded expectations with florals that took whimsy and uniqueness to the next level with a growing garden altar, viney staircase, and hanging floral installations. And CORT Party Rentals worked tirelessly to create a reception space that felt as sturdy as it was stunning, allowing the couple’s vision to come to life in the most beautiful way.

Jordan + Kai’s wedding day was a celebration of love, style, and intentional design, and it will be remembered not just by the couple but by everyone lucky enough to share in the joy of the weekend.
